The lands surrounding Dorotea are perfect for cycling and mountain bike riding. Several posted trails and tracks have been set out, for the novice and the more experienced bikers. The routes can be obtained for free at the reception or downloaded here:

Mountain bikes can be hired for a day (or longer) from reception.

The start point of the five-day canoe trek is just a few hundred meters away from the campsite. Also, from here one can set out and explore the beaver dams in the river and streams nearby. The canoe routes are available for free or can be downloaded here:

kano pixel Five canoes are available for hire. These come equipped with pedals and life jackets.

blokje Walking and hiking

Dorotea is perfect for walking, the country is beautiful. More experienced walkers and hikers will love Borgafjäll, the mountainous area close to the Norwegian border. At the reception we have a selection of detailed maps for sale, together with more information about the area.

The lakes and rivers of South Lappland are an anglers' “must”. In particular, fly-fishing is popular.
