Dorotea is located on the Sju Älver Art Route. From the coastal town of Umea to Borgafjäll in the mountains, 12 works of art can be found in public places. Follow the route and enjoy these beautiful statues.

Kenneth Nielsen is well known for his chain saw art. He lives in Dorotea and uses a part of the Dorocamp terrain as his studio. Here he crafts wooden statues in different styles and sizes. Also, when entering Lappland from the south, he made the giant signpost on the E45. His pieces are on permanent display and for sale. Kenneth Nielsen can be commissioned for sculptures
